The production method of handicraft flower pots
Cement flowerpot. Prepare cement, sand (mixed in a 1:1 ratio), and water to mix the materials into mortar. You can use a mold. If not, you can use a large paper shell with a small paper shell, leaving a space in the middle for filling cement. Pour in cement mortar, fill the gaps, air dry, and remove. The edges can be further polished to make them smoother.
Plastic bottle flower pot. Clean plastic bottles can be used to make flower pots. Draw and cut a suitable shape on the bottle body according to its size. Cut off the bottle mouth to ensure there is enough space at the bottom for planting. This type of flowerpot is suitable for planting small plants.
Stone flowerpot. Collect stones of different sizes. A large stone can be hollowed out, and a drainage outlet can be polished below for planting. Small stones can be glued together with solid glue to form flower pots. Lay pine needles and soil at the bottom to ensure good drainage and breathability.
Wooden flowerpot. Cut the wood into appropriate lengths and secure it outside the transparent plastic bottle, leaving drainage holes. It can be paired with hemp rope or other decorations to create a unique small flower pot.
Bamboo basket flower pot. The bamboo basket itself has good breathability and drainage. Lay cling film at the bottom (make small holes to facilitate drainage), and then place soil for planting. Suitable for hanging and planting plants.
Each material has its unique beauty and applicable style, and suitable materials and methods can be selected according to personal preferences and home environment for production.
